The 12thAnnual Small Business Show - SOHO Syracuse 2009 took place on Thursday, October 8th at the Pirro Convention Center at Oncenter This is the only business show in upstate New York that caters to small business with 30 or fewer employees and SOHO (small office, home office) companies.

There were over 140 booths showcasing products, services and resources for small business. Between attendees and exhibitors over 2,000 people attended the show. This year there were, as well, special presentations and workshops focused on the economy hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Small Business Development Center.

Some other features at the show included the Networking Reception, additional Small Business Presentations such as a spotlight on Verizon Fios and Meet the Candidates, included candidates Stephanie Miner and Otis Jennings, both seeking the office of Mayor for the City of Syracuse.

Considering the economic challenges this show provided much needed information and options along with being the Networking Event for Small Business.

Next year's show is scheduled for Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Pirro Convention Center at Oncenter.
